"When the examination was carried out, the urine of one of the cafe waitresses with the initials RA showed positive results of amphetamine. The cafe waiter was then secured for further questioning," said Amiruddin. After an examination was carried out on RA, continued Kapolres, Mamasa Police Unit personnel then carried out developments by arresting two other people, namely YS and AN. Then the disclosure of the two continued Amiruddin, namely when the Mamasa Police Criminal Investigation Unit personnel arrested a man with the initials WA who was caught carrying methamphetamine-type drugs. The four perpetrators of drug abuse methamphetamine type, said Amiruddin, are currently still being investigated intensively at the Mamasa Police Headquarters. "Of the four people who were arrested, one of them was still under the age, so the rehabilitation was carried out. While the other three along with the evidence has been secured for further investigation," explained Amiruddin. The three perpetrators of drug abuse were added, charged under Article 114 paragraph (1) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (1) Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.

The police chief appealed to the public to participate in eradicating drug trafficking by providing information to the police. "If the public is aware of any suspicious activities related to drugs, it is hoped that they will report to the officers," said Amiruddin.
