BPK Finds Deviations In Financial Management Of PT Indofarma Tbk
JAKARTA - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) found irregularities indicating criminal acts committed by related parties in the financial management of PT Indofarma Tbk and its subsidiaries which resulted in indications of state losses of Rp371.83 billion.These findings are contained in the Investigative Examination Result Report (LHP) related to the Financial Management of PT Indofarma Tbk, Subsidiaries, and Other Related Agencies from 2020 to 2023 which was handed over by the BPK to the Attorney General at the Attorney General's Office, Jakarta, today.This examination is a BPK initiative originating from the development of compliance checks on the Management of Revenue, Burden, and Investment Activities in 2020 to Semester I of 2023 at PT Indofarma Tbk, Subsidiaries, and Related Agencies."We hope that the Attorney General's Office can take advantage of the results of the examination for the legal process," said Deputy Chairman of the BPK Hendra Susanto to Attorney General ST Burhanuddin as quoted by Antara, Monday, May 20.In addition to the submission of the results of the above investigative examination, BPK has also submitted it to the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office on Sunday (5/5), in the form of a State Losses Calculation Result Report (LHP PKN) on the Provision of Working Capital Credit Facility of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk to PT Linkadata Citra Mandiri from 2016 to 2019.Based on the results of the PKN, BPK concluded that there were irregularities indicating criminal acts committed by related parties in the case which resulted in state losses at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk amounting to Rp120.14 billion.
In BPK Regulation Number 1 of 2020 concerning Investigative Examination, Calculation of State/Regional Losses, and Giving Expert Information, it is stated that BPK carries out investigative examinations to reveal indications of state/regional losses and/or criminal elements within the scope of state management and responsibility.
