The Latest Fate Of Enzy Storia Bags That Are Detained In Customs And Excise
Enzy Storia tweeted via his personal X account @EnzyStoria regarding the bag that was stuck on Thursday, May 16. The Special Staff of the Minister of Finance for Strategic Communications at the Ministry of Finance Yustinus Prastowo finally responded to the tweet.
"I can't save the target bag because the price of the tax rather than the price of the bag has been sent back yet to the sender," wrote Enzy.
Prastowo responded to the tweet on Friday, May 17, revealing that his bag was stuck due to the high cost of tax.
"Sis Enzy has coordinated with BC Soetta (Bea Excise Soekarno-Hatta) colleagues. Communication is going well and a joint search is being carried out," Prastowo said in his statement on the official X account @Prastow, as quoted in Jakarta, Saturday, May 18.
From the search results, it was found that the bag was a gift sent by Enzy to the seller as compensation for previous shipment errors. Because it is a gift, the sender declares the price below the actual price. As a result, there appears an additional pay for the item.
The officer then made corrections in accordance with the provisions and referrals of retail prices. However, because the correction value is higher than the retail price and the bag is a substitute item, Enzy invites the deposit service company (PJT) to return the goods to the sender.
Unfortunately, there is no mechanism that regulates the process. This makes the gift item still stuck in the PJT warehouse. "It's not controlled by Customs," said Prastowo.

Prastowo ensured that BC Soetta and the Ministry of Finance had coordinated with PJT regarding this incident.
He also mentioned that PJT will be responsible for the additional pay incurred and agreed to continue the settlement of goods to the sender.
"That's the explanation that can be conveyed. Thank you Customs and Excise friends who helped well and quickly. Thank you, Sis Enzy, who explained the chronology of events with good details and communication," he said.
