BYD Enlivens British Automotive By Offering The Latest Generation Of E6

JAKARTA - BYD, a well-known automotive company from China, will again expand its market in European territory by introducing the latest MPV e6 for the British market. MPV said it would be launched in the near future.

Reporting from Autocar, Saturday, May 18, this second generation BYD e6 has a length of 4,695 mm and a wheelbase of up to 2,800 mm, which is very suitable for being used as a taxi fleet in the country.

Not only has large dimensions, this MPV is also equipped with advanced technologies such as a 10.1-inch touch screen, a 5-inch digital instrument display on the interior, and four USB charging ports on its interior.

To make it easier for drivers, BYD also embeds features such as rear parking sensors and rear cameras that are useful for parking vehicles. This latest model has a trunk area of up to 580 liters as well as an attraction as an urban taxi.

For its performance, BYD e6 is equipped with a single electric motorbike embedded in the front which emits up to 92 dk of power and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 18 seconds.

This car also has a 71.7 kWh battery that can get a distance of up to 415 km in one charge according to WLTP calculations. The battery can charge from 0 to 80 percent in 90 minutes using a 90 kW fast charger.

However, this car has not been officially launched and manufacturers are reluctant to comment on this matter.

This second-generation BYD e6 has landed since 2021 and has been present at the right-handed steering market, including Australia. It is estimated that this car will have a price below 30,000 (IDR 608.2 million) in the UK.
