Cheap Celebration, VinFast VF 3 Only Takes 66 Hours To Book Orders 27,649 Units
JAKARTA - A Vietnamese manufacturer, VinFast, recorded a slick achievement for its new cheap electric SUV, VF 3, which is within 66 hours of launching recording 27,649 Pre-Orders.
The number of orders received is claimed to break Vietnam's automotive record, demonstrating an impressive VF 3 appeal and its potential to become a national car in Vietnam.
"Face-to-face message received within 66 hours is a strong proof of Vietnam's strong support and trust in VinFast. We are very grateful for our customer support for VF 3 and our brand, and we will strive to continue to get such support for support as we grow into world-class Vietnamese car manufacturers," said VinFast Vietnam CEO Duong Thi Thu Trang, in an official statement from the company, Friday, May 17.
At the Pre-Order opening, the price of VF 3 was sold starting from 235 million Dongs or around Rp. 147 million for battery subscriptions and 315 million Dong including batteries or around Rp. 197 million. At this price, VF 3 is trending in Vietnam.
In addition to the attractive price, its pre-order count also broke records on VinFast's innovative sales approach to this model. For the first time in Vietnam, vehicles are sold on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, VinID, and bookings can be made through 9 livestream sessions conducted by 15 influencers.

For those interested in this one model, they will get a vehicle guarantee of 7 years or 160,000 km, and an unlimited travel warranty of 8 years for batteries. The first VF 3 car is expected to be sent to customers starting August 2024.
As is known, this one car first appeared at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year. In specifications, this car has a dimensions of 3,213 mm, a width of 1,678 mm, and a height of 1,620 mm.
Equipped with an electric motor that can pump up power by 43 dk and a torque of 109 Nm is channeled to the rear wheels. According to VinFast, VF 3 can run from 0 to 50 km/hour in just 5.3 seconds.
Supported by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 18.64 kWh, this car only has a range capacity of up to 209 km based on the standard of NEDC. In addition, this small SUV is capable of charging from 10 to 70 percent in 36 minutes.
