Ringo Starr Calls Paul McCartney The Most Workaholic In The Beatles

JAKARTA - The Beatles track record opens the insights of many musicians and connoisseurs about freedom of music. The works of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr have become an important part in the history of musical development.

The many Beatles' work cannot be separated from the role of a member. And Ringo Starr revealed that the figure was none other than their bassist and songwriter, Paul McCartney.

In a recent interview on AXS TV, Ringo described Macca's important role in the Liverpool band's career. All Beatlemania seem to have thanked his 'workaholic' best friend.

"Because Paul is crazy at work in the band, we recorded more songs than John and I did. We'd love to relax until Paul calls, 'come on, friends', and we'll go into (the studio)," Ringo continued.

This happened because of the busyness of the personnel who already had their own lives. "We suddenly have lives, have children, and the effort to keep the band feels heavy, and that's where we thank Paul," he recalled.

In the interview, Ringo Starr also revealed that The Beatles, whose members were not very close personally.

"No, we don't get along. We are only four men, sometimes at odds. But it never affects our music, no matter how bad it gets," he said.

During a gig or recording, the Beatles personnel will focus as if nothing happened. "When the count starts, we will try our best. And lately I just realized it's a natural thing," he concluded.
