Hyundai Only Presents Four Hyundai N Special Dealers In The Philippines

Hyundai N, a performance division under the Hyundai umbrella, is now present in the Southeast Asian market, especially the Philippines. This brand has launched two of its models, namely Elantra N and Ioniq 5 N. However, customers cannot buy it on any dealer network.

To make it easier for consumers, the company from South Korea announced that high-performance car products are available as many as four special dealer networks for the country.

Reporting from Top Gear Philippines, Thursday, May 16, the company announced that Hyundai N products are available in a number of dealer networks in the Metro Manila area, namely Hyundai Alabang, Hyundai Commonwealth Avenue, Hyundai Makati, and Hyundai Pasig.

Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) Cecil Capacete, said that the reason her party brought N products to the country was that the company wanted to become a more competitive brand so that it could compete with its rivals.

"One of the reasons is that it supports us, Hyundai, as a brand to be more competitive, take advantage of our global heritage and achievements to differentiate ourselves in the market," Capacete said.

The company is officially selling Elantra N in the Philippines which offers a dynamic driving style and above average performance. This car appears aggressive with a number of kits that play a role in optimizing the aerodynamics decorated with striking red accents with brand blue colors.

Developed specifically, this model has a unique suspension setup offering optimal control so that it is suitable to be tested at high speed on racing tracks.

Furthermore, this sporty sedan is equipped with a 2.0 liter turbo engine that can produce up to 276 dk of power. This performance is supported by dual-clutch eight acceleration transmission which provides instant acceleration.

In fact, this power can increase to 286 dk for 20 seconds with the N Grin Shift feature which provides additional performance through the front wheels. This car can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 5.3 seconds at the highest speed of up to 250 km/hour.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Ioniq 5N is the highest-performing and most powerful electric car presented by the company. Different from the standard, this crossover has an exterior sporty display equipped with a 21-inch aluminum rim with a Pirelli P Zero 275/35R2 tire.

Another increase was also made in the engine. The Ioniq 5N is equipped with a dual electric motor that produces 600 dk of power and a torque of 748 Nm. In fact, with the N Grin Boost feature, this figure can increase to 641 dk and the 770 Nm torque.

With this power, Ioniq 5 N can reach a speed of 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 260 km/hour.

For the Philippine market, Ioniq 5 N is priced at 4.25 million pesos (equivalent to Rp1.19 billion) and Elantra N is worth 2.738 million pesos (around Rp768.6 million).
