Jasa Marga Orders ODOL Vehicles On Cipularang Toll Road, Check Out The Schedule!
PT Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) as the manager of the Cipularang Toll Road with the police, the Land Transportation Management Center (BPTD), Jasa Raharja, Bandung City Garnisun and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operation (JMTO) as service providers of toll road operations carry out Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicle operations.
As for the schedule itself, it is carried out for three days, namely on May 14-16, 2024.
"The target for this ODOL operation is to focus on vehicles that exceed the dimension and weight capacity," said Senior Manager Representative Office 3 (JMT) Agni Mayvinna in her official statement, quoted Wednesday, May 15.
Agni revealed that vehicles that violate the provisions will be given an action in the form of a ticket by the police. This ODOL operation was carried out at KM 120 of the Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta.
He considered that the purpose of carrying out operations to control ODOL vehicles was a preventive measure because ODOL vehicles had the potential to cause accidents and fatalities on toll roads.
According to him, this is evident from the lack of accidents during the period of service of homecoming flow and backflow of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri yesterday which coincided with the issuance of regulations on restrictions on large vehicles.

"After the period of homecoming and return flow, there are no restrictions on large vehicles. There are accidents, such as overturned trucks and others. We hope that this operation can reduce the level and fatality of accidents on toll roads," he said.
Jasa Marga together with related parties, such as the Highway Patrol Unit (PJR) and the Land Transportation Control Center (BPTD) of the Ministry of Transportation have carried out this operation to provide comfort, security and safety for road users and consider smooth traffic on toll roads.
"Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operation apologize for the inconvenience caused by these activities. Road users are advised to arrange travel times," he added.
