Minister Of Health Affirms No Elimination Of BPJS Classes, The Standards Are Simplified

KONAWE - Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin admitted that he had not signed regarding the discourse on removing Class 1, 2, and 3 programs at the Health Social Security Administration (BPJS).

Minister of Health Budi Gunadi said he had not received a draft attachment to the discourse on removing Classes at BPJS Kesehatan.

"Even I haven't asked yet. If it comes in, it will be signed immediately," said Minister of Health Budi Gunadi while accompanying President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on a working visit (kunker) at the Konawe District General Hospital (RSUD) as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 14.

The Minister of Health said that the discourse was not actually to remove the BPJS Kesehatan class program, but to simplify it and raise the quality of health service standards.

"So, it's not removed, the standards are simplified and the quality is raised. So there's a third grade right now, everything goes up to second and first grade. So now it's simpler and community service is better," said Minister of Health Budi Gunadi.

Minister of Health Budi Gunadi said the Minister of Health Regulation (Permenkes) regarding this matter would come out after President Jokowi signed it.
