Four people were reported to have died in an accident on the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) route due to a malfunctioning or failed vehicle brake. In this incident, four victims died named Imriti Yasin Ali Rahbini, Muslihi Irvani, Tutik Kuntiarti, and Sulimah. While the other five passengers who survived were Siti Aminah, Fatin, Nafla Syakira, Naila Salsabila and Hafis Muhammad Rafif. "Five survivors were referred to the Soepraoen Army Hospital (RST) Malang City, three children were injured and one pregnant woman survived.
