Kaltara DPRD Gives 13 Recommendations, Asks RKPD To Evaluate
TANJUNG SELOR - DPRD of North Kalimantan Province (Kaltara) held the 13th plenary session of the second trial of 2024 concerning the submission of recommendations from the Kaltara DPRD on the statement of accountability (LKPj) of the governor of Kaltara for the 2023 fiscal year.
Deputy Governor of Kaltara Yansen Tipa Padan in the plenary meeting handed over the submission of LKPj for the governor of Kaltara to members of the Kaltara DPRD and continued with the submission of recommendations for the Regional Development Work Plan (RKPD) for the next year.
The chairman of the North Kalimantan DPRD, Albertus Stefanus Marianus Baya, said that his party issued 13 recommendations for the RKPD to be evaluated.
"We evaluate this RKPD, we will first investigate what causes are the obstacles," said Albertus Stefanus, Monday, May 13.
One of the recommendations of the Kaltara DPRD is to ask the Kaltara Provincial Government to complete homework, namely the progress of development that has not been maximized.
"Of course, related to regional infrastructure development and the number of projects that are not completed on time," explained Albertus.
In addition, his party asked the Provincial Government through the relevant Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) to be firm and give warnings to contractors whose work was not on time.
"There are still many activities carried out by the contractor that are not on time, aka the work is delayed," he said.

Deputy Governor Yansen Tipa Padan said his party would immediately follow up on the recommendation and ordered all regional officials to follow up on recommendations.
"Especially regarding our achievements in 2024. Mainly in crucial fields, such as development, education and health," he concluded.
