Bali United Vs Persib Bandung: Maximize First Leg Even Without Support
JAKARTA - Bali United and Persib Bandung will meet at the 2023/2024 League 1 Championship Series. The first leg will be presented on May 14, 2024 at the Bali United Training Center at 19.00 WIB.
Initially, the match was scheduled at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Serdadu Tridatu's home. However, the arena of the match had to be moved due to clashes with the 2024 U-17 Women's Asian Cup.
The problem is, the transfer of the arena for the match makes the first leg of the Championship Series have to be held without spectators.
This situation is certainly detrimental to the host. However, Stefano Cugurra, coach of Serdadu Tridatu, was reluctant to make this a factor that reduced the motivation of his foster children.

"Despite the difficult situation, surely we Bali United team are still enthusiastic. Yes, of course, we already have a lot of experience in the Indonesian league to be able to deal with this situation," said Teco, the coach's greeting.
"What is certain is that they (Persib) will benefit. The current focus must of course work hard in training and matches so that they can have a chance to qualify for the final round."
"It must be during the match, if there is a supporter it will be better. However, at the Bali United Training Center there should be no supporters and we must follow the applicable regulations," said Teco again.
Teco has the advantage of managing difficult situations is an advantage for his team. No wonder, the match will still be above Bali United.
Moreover, Bali United has a record meeting in all competitions. Of the six victories during the 15 encounters, three of them were obtained at home.
Not to mention the strength of Serdadu Tridatu is evenly distributed and has a good squad depth. Private Mbarga can be put forward as important actors in the match later besides Ilija Spasojevic and Jefferson de Assis.
Despite having a number of advantages, Persib is not an easy opponent. Bojan Hodak will bring the best strength with 22 players.
Indeed, Maung Bandung had a minor result in the closing week of Liga 1 2023/2024 when he lost 0-1 against PSS Sleman.
However, the nick was not a burden because Persib's preparation was fairly long.
"Our preparations are going well. We go with full strength. I hope we can get good results in Bali," said Bojan.
"We brought 22 players because we will do two exercises even though later there will be one player who does not sit on the bench," he said.
David Da Silva is clearly promoted as an important actor in the Maung Bandung camp. He will be a serious threat to Bali United.
The Brazilian has already scored 26 goals this season. Apart from Da Silva, Stefano Beltrame's presence at the front of Persib also deserves to be watched out for by the hosts.
The match is predicted to be tight with high tension. The draw results are indeed the most realistic.
However, if Bali United hit the goal first, Persib would be in danger. Teco is known to be effective in implementing pragmatic football.
