InJourney Airports Prepares 13 Airports To Support The Smooth Transportation Of Hajj 2024

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) has prepared 13 airports managed to become embarkation and debarkation airports to support the smooth flight of Hajj Pilgrims Air Transport (Angkutan Hajj) in 2024/1445H.

InJourney Airports President Director Faik Fahmi said that as part of the company's commitment to support the implementation of Hajj Transportation in Indonesia, InJourney Airports has prepared and ensured the readiness of airport infrastructure and services during the embarkation and debarkation process for prospective Hajj pilgrims.

"We have also coordinated with various stakeholders to ensure that all embarcation and debarkation processes can run safely, safely, and comfortably," he said in an official statement, Friday, May 10.

In organizing the 2024 Hajj Transport, said Faik, InJourney Airports prepared 13 airports that were managed to become embarkation and debarkation airports. The details are Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport Banda Aceh, Kualanamu Airport Medan, Hang Nadim Batam Airport and Minangkabau Airport Padang.

Then, continued Faik, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Tangerang, Kertajati Majalengka Airport, Adi Soemarmo Airport Solo, Juanda Airport Surabaya, SAMS Sepinggan Balikpapan Airport, Syamsudin Noor Banjarmasin Airport, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, and Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport Lombok.

Faik explained that although three InJourney Airports, namely Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang, Adi Soemarmo Airport Solo, and Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin currently have the status of a domestic airport, the three airports still serve Hajj embarkation and debarkation.

"This is in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 152 of 2024 concerning Embarkation and Debarkation of Hajj in 1445 Hijri/2024 AD," he explained.

Faik said that his party had also ensured that infrastructure, facilities, and services at allmbarkation and debarkation airports were in optimal condition.

For your information, the implementation of the 2024/1445H Hajj Transport embarkation at InJourney Airports will start from May 12 to June 10, while the debarkation will start from June 23 to July 21. It is planned that as many as 209,741 prospective Hajj pilgrims who are members of 555 flying groups (clusters) will be served by 13 InJourney Airports.

The three airports with the most groups are Soekarno-Hatta Airport Tangerang which will serve 129 clusters, followed by Juanda Airport Surabaya with 106 batches, and Adi Soemarmo Airport Solo with 100 groups.

In addition to the three airports, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar will serve 38 batches, Kertajati Majalengka Airport with 30 batches, Medan Kualanamu Airport with 25 batches, and Padang Minangkabau Airport with 17 batches.

Then, Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport Lombok with 13 batches, Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport Banda Aceh with 12 groups, and SAMS Sepinggan Airport Balikpapan, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang, and Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin each with 19 groups.
