STY Asks Indonesian U-23 Players To Imitate Nathan Tjoe-A-On's Prosperous Communication Style
JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, issued a request to all Garuda Muda employees to follow Nathan Tjoe-A-On's vocal communication style in the field.
Nathan, who is in Qatar's 2024 U-23 Asian Cup, was placed at the left centre-back and midfielder position by Shin, during the event the camera was often highlighted and did not hesitate to scold and remind his teammates if someone made a mistake in the field.
Shin said what Nathan did was a positive thing that other Indonesian players had to imitate so that while on the field he would not remain silent with each other.
"For Nathan, things like that are from our players who have to learn," Shin said at a press conference via Zoom to Indonesian journalists, Wednesday, May 8, ahead of the match against Guinea in the match for one ticket remaining for the 2024 Paris Olympics, at Clairefontaine, Paris, Thursday 9 May at 20.00 WIB.
He added that currently there are still many players who feel uncomfortable giving a warning to other players. In fact, according to him, such a warning is a common thing in football matches.

Nathan's whereabouts, STY hopes that other Garuda Muda players can imitate what the player who played with the Dutch Eredivisie club SC Heerenveen did.
"It seems that there is a culture that does not blame each other on the field from Indonesian players. This means that there is no communication between players," said Shin.
He continued "Indeed, the most important thing is speech tactics, meaning that compared to other tactics, which are more important".
"This local player is too silent, if I see Nathan's behavior on the field very well. That's what I ask the players on the field but there are still many of our players who are ashamed and feel wrong if they give a warning to other players," he said. "Actually communication on the ground is very good and must be done well".
