Apindo Boss Reveals The Figure Of The Coordinating Minister For The Economy Who Is Expected In Prabowo's Cabinet
Chairman of the Indonesian Employers' Association (Apindo) Shinta W Kamdani hopes that the Coordinating Minister for the Economy in the presidential cabinet elected Prabowo Subianto is a person who understands the elements of the Indonesian economy.
"I think it's standard. So, obviously, it's professionalism, then it can work with business actors and can (understand) economic elements," Shinta told reporters at the Apindo office, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 8.
Shinta assessed that this character is the standard that is expected by business actors who are members of Apindo.
In addition, officials who will later fill the seat of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy are expected to be figures who do have an economic background.
"In terms of business (perpetrators), yes, our principle is that ministers who professionally have a track record can show developments rather than the Indonesian economy and how this is maintained," he said.

When asked further who is the person who deserves to fill the position, Shinta doesn't comment further. He just laughed at it.
According to him, this will be revealed later during the inauguration of the elected president and vice president in October 2024.
