Researcher Values Ganjar's Attitude Of Prabowo's Opposition Potential To Be The Direction Of PDIP

JAKARTA - Political researcher (parpol) of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Siti Zuhro assessed that the statement of the presidential candidate (candidate) Ganjar Pranowo who chose to become an opposition by being outside the government has the potential to also be the direction of the PDI-P (PDIP) in the future.

Although Ganjar expressed this as a person, according to him Ganjar is a figure who cannot be separated from PDIP. In fact, according to him, Ganjar is trusted to be a presidential candidate.

"Of course it has been assessed, considered in such a way, consulted, not alone," said Siti Zuhro when contacted from Jakarta, Wednesday, May 8, confiscated by Antara.

He assessed that the direction of PDIP as an organization would be officially decided at the party's national working meeting (rakernas). However, Ganjar's declaration could also be an affirmation of the party's political direction.

So far, he considers that PDIP does not actually recognize the term opposition, but has the term cooperation by being outside the government.

"So the term cooperation is not a coalition. So yes, it is outside the government, what we are reading is in the future the direction of PDIP, that's the direction," he said.

In addition, according to him, the three candidates who participated in the 2024 presidential election had different visions and missions. So that it should be necessary for those who do not win the 2024 presidential election to balance the government as supervisors.

Previously, presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo declared himself as an opposition in the Prabowo-Gibran Cabinet to enforce an examination and balance mechanism for government policies.
