JAKARTA - PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia or KAI Commuter reported that the Commuter Line Bogor trip was too late due to a disturbance in the signal this morning.
External Relations & Corporate Image Care KAI Commuter Leza Arlan said the problem of the signal occurred at around 07.09 WIB. He said KAI Daop 1 Jakarta and KAI Commuter also operated manual signaling so that they could still serve Commuter Line passengers at Citayam Station.
"Sorry for the slowdown in Commuter Line Bogor's journey at Citayam Station this morning Tuesday, due to the problem of signaling," he said in an official statement, Tuesday, May 7.
Currently, continued Leza, the improvement in the problem of the signaling has been completed by related officers from PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta. At 07.40 WIB, the signaling at Citayam Station returned to normal for automatic operation.
"However, KAI Commuter is still making travel arrangements to unravel the queue density across," he said.
Leza said that due to these obstacles, six Commuter Line Bogor trips were delayed by 10 to 33 minutes, and KAI Commuter also engineered the Commuter Line Bogor travel operation pattern to suppress the slowdown.
"KAI Commuter urges commuter line users to always prioritize safety and follow the directions of officers in the field. Don't force it to go up if the commuter line is already crowded," he explained.
