JAKARTA - Alica Schmidt qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This is the debut of the German athletic athlete in the world's largest multi-event.

The runner celebrated his qualifying pass on TikTok which has two million followers. He will appear in the mixed 4 x 400m relay number.

Previously, Schmidt had qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but he finally canceled his competition.

Now, Alica Schmidt has been named the sexiest athlete at the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, the 25-year-old runner had a lot of twists and turns before confirming his ticket to France.

Recently, he revealed that he had rejected the six-digit sponsorship deal, aka hundreds of thousands of pounds.

"Two months ago I received an offer from a well-known brand. However, I don't 100 percent support it."

"I don't feel comfortable with it. It means six digits for a campaign," he said as reported by The Sun.

I don't know what the strong reason behind the refusal. He only said he did not support the brand which was also unnamed.

Alica Schmidt still chose to stick to her income in the world of sports even though she was relatively small.

He only earns around 611 pounds of athletics or IDR 12 million per month.

"In principle, I have to say that it is not easy for most German athletic athletes to make a living from sports."

"Of course there is money that can be generated from competitions. In most competitions you don't make money."

"Personally, I can't live just by the amount of this (income). For many competitions, you still have to bear the costs of travel and hotels, which are not always borne."

"Most of us study part-time to get a second source of income or even have a side job we do," said Alica Schmidt.

Luckily, Alica Schmidt has a large source of income from her social media. Apart from TikTok, he has an Instagram account that has 4.9 million followers.
