27 Victims Of Toxics Of The Celebration Menu In Purwakarta Taken To The Hospital, 20 Allowed To Go Home

A total of 27 victims of food poisoning at the celebration had serious symptoms so they were taken to the Bayu Asih Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Purwakarta Regency, West Java (West Java). However, some of them were allowed to go home.

Acting Director of the Bayu Asih Hospital, Tri Muhammad Hani, said that of the victims who were treated, seven residents had to undergo hospitalization, and the rest underwent outpatient treatment.

"The number of victims who were taken to the Bayu Asih Hospital was 27 patients. A total of 21 patients were adults, and six other patients were children," he said in Cianjur, Monday, May 6, was confiscated by Antara.

According to him, almost all of the poisoned patients experience similar symptoms, namely feeling nausea, dizziness and weakness.

"There are some patients who have to undergo hospitalization due to shortness of breath," he said.

Hani said that in addition to focusing on handling the victims, his party also took food samples which allegedly poisoned hundreds of residents for further examination.

Meanwhile, on Sunday 5 May, 121 residents of Sukamulya Village, Pasir Munjul Village, Sukatani Purwakarta District were poisoned after eating dishes at a celebration.

Hundreds of these residents initially experienced symptoms of nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, and shortness of breath after eating the dish. These symptoms were experienced when entering Maghrib time.

As a result of the incident, a number of ambulances were passing by carrying patients to be taken to the nearest health center and clinic, so some were immediately taken to the Bayu Asih Hospital because they experienced serious symptoms.
