After Condom Findings, DKI Satpol PP Established 3 Command Posts To Supervise Prostitution At RTH Tubagus Angke

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Satpol PP established 3 posts as well as to monitor and prevent the practice of prostitution in the green open space (RTH) area of Jalan Tubagus Angke, West Jakarta.

The guard of these 3 posts was carried out following the discovery of condoms scattered in the area some time ago.

Head of DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, Arifin, said that the supervision of green open space was carried out by 35 joint personnel, including the TNI, Polri, PPSU Wijaya Kusuma Village, and members of the Satpol PP in turn.

"Later, there will be officers who will regularly guard the post. This means that there will be supervision and monitoring by officers," Arifin told reporters, Monday, May 6.

In addition, the DKI Provincial Government has also started to fix facilities in green open space such as tree and bushes. Plus the spotlight so that the area becomes clearer.

Thus, Arifin hopes that the community will not commit immoral acts in green open space and can use green open space according to its function as reforestation and lungs of the city.

"Let's take care of this public facility that is already available and not damage it," he said.

Previously, the public reported that there were often findings of condoms scattered every morning on the RTH of Jalan Tubagus Angke. The condom was scattered because it was suspected that the location was used as a place for prostitution by irresponsible people.

West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto admitted that the green open space on Jalan Tubagus Angke is often a place of illegal prostitution. This, continued Uus, happened because localization in Kalijodo had been closed.

"Previously in Kalijodo, there were no prostitution places, now maybe there are no people in Kalijodo, people who are just like that now," said Uus, Monday, April 29.

However, Uus emphasized that he had instructed the Distamhut and Satpol PP ranks to guard the location.
