Tightening Subsidized Fuel Supervision, Head Of BPH Migas Signs Cooperation With Acting Governor Of The Babel Islands

In order to realize the provision and distribution of subsidized fuel oil (BBM) that is right on target and on volume in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands (Babel), the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Provincial Government of the Babylon Islands.

This PKS aims to carry out control, coaching, and supervision in the distribution of certain types of fuel (JBT) and Types of Special Assignment Fuel (JBKP) in the Babel Islands.

Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati stated that this PKS was carried out as a follow-up to the PKS between BPH Migas and the Directorate General of Regional Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs concerning Development and Supervision in Control of User Consumers JBT and JBKP in Provincial and Regency/City Regions.

"We have signed a Cooperation Agreement between BPH Migas and the Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands. With this Cooperation Agreement, programs can be carried out together with the Provincial Government of the Babel Islands. For example, conducting joint supervision and socialization," Erika said in a statement to the media, Saturday, May 4.

Erika said, PKS has scope, among others, control over the distribution of JBT and JBKP for User Consumers, as well as increased coordination regarding the implementation of JBT and JBKP distribution in the administrative area of the Babel Islands Province.

In addition, another scope is the guidance and supervision of the purchase of JBT and JBKP based on a Recommendation Letter issued by the Head of Regional Apparatus/Head of Fisheries Port/Lurah/Village Head in the administrative area of the Babel Islands Province to the User Consumers JBT and JBKP.

The same thing was conveyed by the Acting Governor of the Babel Islands, Safrizal ZA. He revealed the follow-up plan after the signing of the PKS.

"We, the ranks of the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Government, together with the Forkopimda (Regional Leadership Coordination Forum) and the ranks will immediately consolidate. By continuing or making action plans in order to carry out the agreements that we have made," he said.

In addition, Safrizal said that he would evaluate the implementation and control of the previous year.

"For us to improve the quality or quality of work, so that the results can still manage the distribution of subsidized fuel, and continue to control or supervise those who are entitled to use subsidized fuel and assignments," concluded Safrizal.
