Unhealthy, DKI's Air Quality Is The Fourth Worst In The World This Morning

JAKARTA - The air quality index (AQI) in Jakarta is at 163 with a PARTiculate matter (PM) 2.5, which means it is categorized as unhealthy on Saturday, May 4 at 05.25 WIB. Based on data from the IQAir air quality monitoring site, the air quality in DKI Jakarta is the fourth worst in the world.

The city with the worst air quality in the world on Kathmandu, Nepal with an air quality index at 206, followed by Delhi, India at 197, then chasing Mai, Thailand at 170.

Meanwhile, the Environmental Information and Hygiene System of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environment Agency states that the overall air quality in Jakarta is in the moderate category.

The air quality category means air quality levels that do not affect human or animal health but affect plants that are sensitive and aesthetic value.
