Kadin Says New Government Has Opportunity To Increase Indonesia's Exports In Semester II
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) revealed that the new government has the opportunity to create an export trend of Indonesia in the second semester of the bullish (increasing).
"If you have spoken during the new government, the opportunity must be bullish," said Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce, Juan Permata Adoe, quoted from ANTARA, Friday, May 3.
Juan said the opportunity was due to the current transition of government until the inauguration of the new president and vice president in October allowed careful preparation.
"The transition from now on until October 2024, must be well prepared. All activities will definitely be carried out," he said.
The second factor that has the opportunity to create an export trend in Indonesia in the second semester is that Indonesia's relations with China will grow, so that it means investment will grow.
Then events in Europe today are expected not to have an impact on Asia.
Then, the volume that is transacted where if you look at the number, the largest one is in Asia.
"So the work culture remains the same, relations with China, Japan, then with ASEAN. And we still have advantages in several commodities, namely CPO and its derivatives and mining results are still very large, and the investment will continue. These things create an opportunity for us to enter where in the second semester the growth will increase," said Juan.
