Antam's Gold Price Drops One Thousand Rupiah To IDR 924,000 Per Gram As Of Monday, March 8
JAKARTA - On Monday, March 8, the price of 24 carat gold bullion of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) was observed to have slightly strengthened. Citing Antam's website, the base price of 1 gram of 24 carat gold is sold for IDR 924.000, or an increase of IDR 1.000 compared to the previous day's price.
The smallest unit gold with a size of 0.5 grams is now priced at IDR 512.000, which is also stronger than the previous trade price. Then, the price of 24 carat gold measuring 5 grams is priced at IDR 4.395.000.
Furthermore, 10 gram gold bars are sold at a price of IDR 8.735.000. The price of gold for a 50 gram unit costs IDR 43.345.000 while a 100 gram print can be redeemed for IDR 86.612,000. The 1.000 gram size is valued at IDR 864.600.000 which is currently not available.

On the other hand, Antam's gold buyback was at the level of IDR 787.000 per gram, an increase of IDR 2.000 from the previous position. The resale price does not yet consider tax if the nominal value is more than IDR 10 million.
In accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, the sale of gold is returned to Antam. with a nominal value of more than IDR 10 million, subject to PPh 22 of 1.5 percent (for NPWP holders and 3 percent for non-NPWPs).
PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. Meanwhile, the purchase of gold bars will be subject to PPh 22 of 0.45 percent (for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWPs). Every purchase of gold bullion is accompanied by proof of withholding income tax 22.
