Susilo Wonowidjojo Builds An Airport And Highway Road In Kediri With The Value Of Trillions Of Rupiah That He Earns Through Gudang Garam

JAKARTA - Cigarette producer PT Gudang Garam Tbk is increasingly steadfast as the king of business in the city of Kediri, East Java. The company, codenamed Gudang Garam, is in the process of building Dhoho Kediri Airport and starting a toll road business.

Gudang Garam, which is a company owned by Susilo Wonowidjojo, recently made an additional capital investment in its subsidiary PT Surya Dhoho Investama (SDHI) worth IDR 1 trillion.

Gudang Garam Corporate Secretary Heru Budiman, quoted from the disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website Friday, March 5, said the affiliated transaction was carried out to increase PT SDHI's capital.

For information, SDHI is a company formed by Gudang Garam that was given the mandate to build Dhoho Airport in Kediri, East Java. This transaction, said Heru, was carried out to support the continuation of the development process of the Integrated Airport in Kediri, East Java, which was built by the company owned by the conglomerate Susilo Wonowidjojo through SDHI.

This company with the code GGRM owns 99.99 percent of shares in SDHI. Later, SDHI will issue 1 million shares which will be absorbed by GGRM to include an additional capital of IDR 1 trillion.

Thus, SDHI's issued and paid-up capital will be IDR 5 trillion from the previous IDR 4 trillion. Furthermore, SDHI's authorized capital, which currently amounts to IDR 5 trillion, will also be increased to Rp. 8 trillion.

"The change in the amount of SDHI capital mentioned above will be contained in the deed of the SDHI Articles of Association Amendment in accordance with the decision of the SDHI General Meeting of Shareholders", Heru explained.

Meanwhile, the issued and paid-up capital by the company owned by the 6th richest person in Indonesia will be done in stages starting this year, with the initial deposit on March 3.

For the record, SDHI has conducted a ceremonial groundbreaking of the construction of Dhoho Kediri Airport on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, virtually. This airport was built to serve the community, especially in Kediri and its surroundings, and is considered one of the alternative airports in East Java.

Gudang Garam is expanding their business by doing infrastructure sector, especially on toll roads. This was marked by the formation of a company owned by Gudang Garam, which operates in the toll road sector, named PT Surya Kertaagung Toll.

Gudang Garam Corporate Secretary Heru Budiman said that PT Surya Kertaagung Toll was founded under PT Surya Kerta Agung, which is a subsidiary of a company owned by the 6th richest person in Indonesia.

"A subsidiary of PT Surya Kerta Agung has established a new subsidiary named PT Surya Kertaagung Toll in Kediri", Heru explained, quoted from the disclosure of information on Gudang Garam on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website, Wednesday, November 11.

Heru explained, the establishment of PT SKT was to expand the company's business in the construction sector. PT SKT will work on upgrading, maintenance, and repair of roads, roads, and toll roads, as well as bridges and flyovers.

Not only that, but the business sector of PT SKT is also not limited to the activities of building, upgrading, maintaining, supporting, complementing, and equipment for the aforementioned infrastructure.

"But also in the case of the installation of prefabricated buildings mainly of concrete for road and railroad construction as part of the work included in the construction of civil buildings and usually carried out on a subcontract basis", Heru said.

Gudang Garam itself has 499.999 shares or 99.9 percent in PT Surya Kerta Agung, which established PT SKT.

The establishment of PT SKT is stated in the Deed of Establishment number 09 dated November 6, 2020, made by Notary Danny Rachman Hakim in Kediri, East Java.

Judging from the capital structure, PT SKT has an authorized capital of IDR 1.2 trillion. The issued and paid-up capital was recorded at IDR 300 billion or as many as 300 thousand shares with a nominal value of IDR 1 million per share.

In PT SKT, PT SKA took a share portion of 299.999 shares or 99.9 percent which is equivalent to IDR 299.99 billion. Furthermore, Heru Budiman subscribed for a share of 1 percent or one share equivalent to IDR 1 million.
