DHARMASRAYA - A woman's body found in her house caused a stir among residents of Sitiung IV Block D Koto Gadang, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra (West Sumatra)."The body was found on the bed in the living room of the victim's house," said Sungai Rumbai Police Chief AKP Suyanto on Punjung Island, Antara, Monday, April 28.The body of the known person named Sri Ulina (53). At the request of the victim's family, no autopsy was carried out or post-mortem. The body was immediately taken to Muaro Bungo, Jambi for burial by the family."The family accepted the incident, and asked not to be autopsied. The families and children of the victims were in Bungo. After collecting the victim's data, they were immediately taken to Bungo," he said.He explained that the discovery of the body began with a witness from the victim's parents, Samsuri (72), who came to the victim's house to see his son who lived alone at his house because he had not seen him for a long time, on Thursday (25/4). However, the witness did not see the victim because the door to his house was closed.After a few days, he continued on Sunday (28/4) the victim came back, but the door to his house was also closed. Feeling suspicious and smelled a foul smell, then the witness immediately entered the house."When he entered the house, the witness saw that the victim had died on a relaxed mattress in the living room of his house," he said.Receiving this information, he said, the Sungai Rumbai Police immediately went to the location. After arriving at the location, the personnel immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and installed a police line.
"In the TKP processing process, we are coordinating with the wali nagari and Puskesmas Koto Gadang for further handling. For the cause of death we are still conducting further investigations," he added.
