Thailand Is A Crypto Exchange That Operates Without A Government Permit
JAKARTA - In an effort to strengthen cybersecurity and enforce the law, the Thai government is taking firm steps by planning to block access to unregistered crypto platforms. This step is part of a global strategy to balance regulation and innovation in the crypto sector.
The Thai government, through the Technology Crime Prevention and Enforcement Committee, has assigned the Thai SEC to identify and report unauthorized digital asset service providers or illegal. This information will be submitted to the Ministry of Digital Economy and the Community for further action.
Although it has not been explained specifically, which platform will be blocked, the government urges users to immediately withdraw their assets from potentially illegal platforms. The Thai SEC guarantees that users will be given sufficient time to set up their accounts before blocking is enforced.

This initiative reflects Thailand's seriousness in creating a safe and regular crypto investment environment. The country has opened up opportunities for institutional investors and high-income individuals to invest in crypto ETFs, but remains alert to the risks that may arise.
Thailand is not the first country to take such a step; India and the Philippines have also taken similar actions to deal with unauthorized crypto platforms. Regulators in Thailand continue to strive to develop a regulatory framework that supports innovation while protecting investors and financial system integrity.
On the other hand, in a dynamically full crypto world, Milei Moneda ($MEDA) is attracting attention with impressive early sales. With presale prices of US$0.0125 (around Rp. 202.56), $MEDA offers a unique combination of determination, economy, and humor. The project has successfully sold 64 million MEDA tokens in their crypto presale, signaling a significant growth potential in the future.
Thailand, with its new regulatory steps, and Milei Moneda, with promising presales, are both showing the growing dynamics of the crypto market and how various stakeholders adapt to the change.
