Misuse Of Stay Permit, SNSD Hyoyeon Producer And Dita Karang Deported By Bali Immigration
BALI - The Ngurah Rai Immigration Office in Bali deported two producers from South Korea (South Korea) who produced television programs of a number of artists, including Hyoyeon from SNSD music group to Dita Karang from the Secret Number music group.
"Both of them were proven to have violated the abuse of immigration residence permits and also did not complete the film production permit by foreigners in Indonesia," said Ngurah Rai Immigration Chief Suhendra in Denpasar, Bali, Sunday, April 28, as quoted by Antara.
Two producers, namely a man with the initials YJC and a woman with the initials NJ were deported because both were responsible for the production process of the reality show television program entitled Pick me trip in Bali.
The two were deported on Saturday, April 27 evening via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali riding Malaysia Airlines to Kuala Lumpur and continued to Seoul, South Korea.
Both of them are subject to Article 75 paragraph 1 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration and are included in the list of deterrence from entering the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
Suhendra revealed that initially the producer had applied for permission to make films/videos through the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Seoul.
The Indonesian Embassy in Seoul then gave recommendations regarding the request but there are a number of points that need further improvement.
However, the producer did not return to contact the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul and it turned out that the crew and artists, totaling 32 people, were already in Bali on April 21, 2024.
The Indonesian Embassy in Seoul then coordinated with the Directorate General of Culture, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud, Research and Technology).
Furthermore, through the Director of Music and Media at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology forwarded the information to the Ngurah Rai Special Class I Immigration Office, Bali.
Earlier on Thursday, April 25, Immigration Ngurah Rai examined 31 crew and artists from South Korea and one artist who is an Indonesian citizen regarding the process of shooting the reality show program.
There is also the Korean Package Season 2: Pick Me Trip in Bali entertainment program starring a number of idols in the entertainment/music industry in the country, including Hyoyeon from Girls' Generation or SNSD.

Furthermore, Bomi from Apink, Choi Hee, Im Na-young and one of the Secret Number members who are Indonesian citizens from Bali, namely Anak Agung Ayu Puspa Aditya Karang or known as the stage name, Dita Karang.
In addition, the 15 crew and artists from South Korea and Dita Karang returned to South Korea on Friday (26/4).
The rest, as many as 14 other South Korean nationals followed their return to their country on Saturday (27/4) and continued with the deportation of the two producers aged 49 and 33, respectively.
Suhendra added a visa for the purpose of filming, the Directorate General of Immigration has issued a visa policy of the C13 (single entry) and D14 (multiple entry) index which can be submitted online via the evisa.imigration.go.id page which facilitates the visa services of foreigners.
