Synthetic Drug Production, 2 Men In Tangerang Arrested By Police

TANGERANG - Police arrested two men named Angga Saputra and Dedy Maulana. They were arrested on suspicion of distributing synthetic drugs or gorillas.

East Ciputat Police Chief, Kompol Kemas said the perpetrator was arrested in the Larangan area, Karang Tengah, Tangerang City, Thursday, April 25.

The incident began with a public report related to the existence on Jalan Inpres 5, Larangan, Tangerang City. On that basis, his party conducted an investigation until they finally arrested Angga Saputra.

"(The perpetrator) is a user as well as a person who produces these synthetic drugs," said Kemas in his statement, Sunday, April 28.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, the police also found evidence in the form of 1 plastic bag of narcotics Type of synthetic tobacco / gorilla with a gross weight of 184 Grams, 1 (one) plastic bag of synthetic tobacco /gorilla type narcotics with a gross weight of 137.28 Grams.

Furthermore, the perpetrators and evidence were brought to the East Ciputat Police. The goal is for further action.

During the examination, Angga admitted that he learned to produce it, learning from YouTube and Facebook.

"He studied online via Youtube and Facebook. Then he bought materials to produce synthetic tobacco/gorilla through social media (Facebook) including synthetic seedlings, tobacco and stoves," he said.

From this arrest, said the police chief, his party then carried out developments. As a result, the officers again secured a perpetrator.

"Dudidian was secured by Dedy Maulana at a madura shop. Dedy is a dealer of goods made in a concoction from Angga," he said.

For their actions, these two people were charged with alleged criminal acts of narcotics abuse of synthetic tobacco and were charged with Article 114 subsidiary 112 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009.
