PSSI Creates A Meeting For The Selection Of Referees And Assistants For Liga 3

JAKARTA - The All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) through the Observation Department created a workshop to select referees and assistant referees who will serve in the 2023/2024 League 3 season competition. The workshop was held in Depok, West Java, from April 24-27 2024 and was attended by as many as 256 participants consisting of 120 referees and 136 assistant referees. "According to the direction of PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir, this time we are holding a re-innovation, for the coaching area in PSSI's view, I thank the PSSI Provincial Association, our members who have been consistently in fostering insights in the regions," said Deputy Chair Ratu Thasha quoting Antara. She explained, the participants will take part in a number of selection series ranging from physical tests to understanding the material needed when leading the match. "We held a selection again at the national level, consisting of three types, the first is the FIFA Fitness Test category 2, the second is the LotG (Law of the Game) Test, and the third is the video test," said the woman who is often called Tisha.

He added that the participants who participated in the workshop were the result of the selection from the C1C referee, namely the national C1 category in the regions. Later, he added, the referees could serve in the national level PSSI amateur competition. Thasha thanked PSSI members, namely the Provincial Association (Asprov), for having sent the best referees to participate in the national selection, as well as being consistent in fostering insights in the regions. He who saw the physical fitness selection process on the first day hoped that with this activity, PSSI would get quality referees to advance soccer in Indonesia.
