The Attorney General's Office Names 5 New Suspects Of Tin Corruption, One Of Them Is The Head Of The ESDM Office
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named five new suspects in the alleged corruption case of tin commodity trading in the Mining Business Permit (IUP) area of PT Timah Tbk from 2015 to 2022. One of them has the initials SW, who is the Head of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province Energy and Mineral Resources Office for the 2015-2019 period.
"After the investigation, the investigation team saw that sufficient evidence had been found, so today we have named 5 suspects," said the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Kuntadi to reporters, Friday, April 26.
Apart from SW, four other suspects, namely HL as Beneficiary Owner of PT TIM; FR marketing PT TIM; BN who is the Acting Head of the Bangka Belitung Province ESDM Office for the 2019 period, and AS who is also the Acting Head of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province ESDM Office who is subsequently appointed as the Head of the ESDM Service.
Of the five suspects, three of them were immediately arrested. They are FR, AS and SW. Meanwhile, the other two suspects were not detained for certain reasons.
"For the purposes of the investigation, we carried out detention measures, respectively FRs at the Salemba detention center branch of the Attorney General's Office, and suspects AS and suspects SW at the Salemba detention center, Central Jakarta," he said.
"The suspect BN for the health reasons in question was not detained. Meanwhile, the suspect HL, who was summoned today as a witness, was not present. The oenyidik team will immediately be summoned as a suspect," continued Kuntadi.

The suspects are charged with Article 2 Paragraph (1) and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, in this case, the AGO has named 16 suspects. Two of them are crazy rich Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) Helena Lim and Harvey Moeis who is Sandra Dewi's husband.
