8 Lecturers And 3 Educators Report UNU Chancellors To Gorontalo Police Cases Of Alleged Sexual Violence

GORONTALO - As many as 11 victims of alleged sexual violence committed by the rector of the Gorontalo Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) with the initials AH, officially reported to the Gorontalo Police.The victim's attorney, Nismawaty Male, said the report was submitted with other fellow lawyers on Tuesday, April 23 and has been received by the Gorontalo Police.The eight victims were lecturers and the other three were education staff."Until now, the Gorontalo Police have invited and asked for information from six victims," he said in Gorontalo, Antara, Thursday, April 25.He hopes that all victims get justice and the alleged perpetrators will no longer repeat their actions."For further developments, we will inform you later," he added.As previously reported, the Chancellor of the University of Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) Gorontalo with the initials AH has clarified the case.He admitted that he did not commit sexual violence and considered the case to be very influential on his personal and family reputations.
Previously, the Gorontalo UNU's Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS) reported the rector to the LLDIKTI Region XIV and PWNU Gorontalo for cases of sexual violence against 12 lecturers and education personnel on campus.
