Taxi Service At IKN Operates During The 79th Anniversary Of Indonesian Independence Ceremony, This Is What Blue Bird Boss Said
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Blue Bird Tbk Adrianto Djokosoetono opened his voice regarding the planned operation of taxi services in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) in the midst of the plan to carry out the 79th Indonesian Independence Ceremony there.
The man who is familiarly called Andre did not provide much information regarding when the Bluebird Group taxi service was planned to pave the way for IKN.
However, he ensured that Blue Bird's commitment remained the same, namely developing urban electric bus services, bus stops, transfer points and park and ride areas, which adjust to IKN development.
"You can't say yet. The plan, right, we announced the December (announce) yesterday (2023). Yes, it is still in our plan to implement the target," Adrianto said when met by reporters after the media gathering at Bluebird Tower, South Jakarta, Thursday, April 25.
When further confirmed whether Blue Bird Group taxi services will be able to operate during the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony at IKN, Andre is reluctant to provide further information.
"I don't know yet, IKN (also) has not been inaugurated," he said.
For your information, IKN Nusantara will plan to be inaugurated on August 17, 2024 or in conjunction with the celebration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day.
In detail, Blue Bird has invested IDR 250 billion which will be used for the development of a more environmentally friendly transportation system, including the procurement of electric rapid transit buses or urban bus services, electric taxis, electric rental cars to buses bound for IKN-Balikpapan.

Not only electric vehicles, but the taxi company will also build other supporting facilities ecosystems, such as bus stops, parks and rides, transfer points, depots and charging points which will all be managed in an integrated manner using smart technology.
To support the mobility of IKN residents, Blue Bird plans to provide electric taxis of up to 100 units, electric rental car fleets of up to 50 units, bus fleets bound for IKN-Balikpapan as many as 10 units and charging points and depots.
Meanwhile, for the contribution of 40 units of electric urban bus services, bus stops to 53 points, 1 transfer point or bus exchange station and 2 parks and rides.
