Here's How To Create WhatsApp Password Locks On Android And IOS
JAKARTA - WhatsApp continues to improve security on its platform. One of the latest security features is the password or passkey key feature that is now available on Android and iOS.
With a password key, when you want to log in to your WhatsApp account in the future, you no longer need to use OTP SMS messages anymore, but you can use your fingerprints, faces, or screen keys to verify yourself.
To set up a password key, on Android, at least you need an Android 9 or later model device with the following conditions:
Your Google account is prepared and linked to your new mobile device. Make sure Password Manager Settings have been enabled on your device.
In addition, make sure you have updated the latest version of the WhatsApp application. Because, this feature has just been released via WhatsApp updates.
Create a password key on Android:
You may be asked to tap Use a screen key to create your password key.
