Honda Launches Two Series E:N Production Models, To Control The Electrification Market In The Bamboo Curtain Country
JAKARTA - On the opening day of the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Beijing Auto Show) 2024, Honda announced the latest information regarding the series model e:N, namely e:NP2 and e:NS2.
According to manufacturers, Thursday, April 25, the e:NP2 car is sold by the joint venture company GAC Honda Automobile. Meanwhile, e:NS2 will be sold by Dongfeng Honda Automobile. Both will be sold starting June 2024.
These two models were built with a dedicated e:N Architecture F platform for the series. Both e:NP2 and e:NS2, offering a combination of advanced technologies with a fun driving experience.
Both feature exterior designs that carry SUV utilities combined with sleek sedans. For the interior, it has a clean horizontal design theme on instrument panels and a comfortable cabin room covered with high-quality materials.
In addition, a new all-new model features advanced Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and highly functional, including a large Head-Up Display with changeable interior lights.
Users will be spoiled with 12.8-inch Audio Display and a Honda Connect 4.0, the latest version of connectivity technology specifically designed for Honda EVs in China.
This crossover will be the first Honda model to adopt a scent system that will allow passengers to use large Audio Displays or smartphone apps available to select their favorite fragrances and spread them throughout the room.

Models e:NP2 and e:NS2 will be equipped with an Intelligent Heating System that minimizes power consumption through various steps such as cooperative control in AC units and other onboard heating features.
The battery has Intelligent Power Unit (IPU) technology that can control batteries and reduce driving barriers, making models such as e:NP2 able to cover a distance of up to 545 km based on CLTC standards.
The launch of two series e:N models is in line with the company's global vision of neutralizing carbon on all product lines and production activities by 2050.
In addition, the manufacturer with the 'H' logo plans to introduce 10 EV models in China by 2027 and make electric vehicles represent 100 percent of car sales in the bamboo curtain country by 2035.
