Theft Rises In Palangka Raya, Police Investigate One Gang Of Perpetrators
The Palangka Raya City Police (Polresta) continues to investigate cases of theft that have occurred in a number of local areas that have made the community uneasy.
Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) Kompol Ronny M Nababan said a number of cases reported by residents in the local area had been handled and were continuously investigated to arrest the perpetrators.
"Various locations of incidents reported by the public, we have carried out crime scenes (TKP) and further investigations, with the aim of getting instructions to arrest the perpetrators," said Ronny in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan (Kalteng). Wednesday 24 April, confiscated by Antara.
Ronny said that his party had also collected several statements from the victims and witnesses who knew about the theft case in a number of appropriate cases.
It is not yet known whether this theft case is the same gang or other groups. Ronny asked to be patient so that this case can later be cleared and the perpetrators arrested.
"Investigating a case certainly takes time, even the clues obtained will continue to be developed so that they can arrest the perpetrators," he said.
Ronny added that the Palangka Raya Police also activated patrols at certain hours to suppress crime in a number of places, both areas that were considered vulnerable and quiet places.

Regarding the theft of a charity box at a mosque located on Jalan Mendawai, Palangka Village, Jekan Raya District, a crime scene has also been processed and the police are conducting an investigation with the aim of uncovering the case of theft of money in the mosque's charity box.
"We ask for prayers to residents in the local area if someone suspects the perpetrator, immediately report to the nearest police station so that they can be followed up immediately," said Ronny.
He also appealed to all residents living in Palangka Raya City, apart from increasing vigilance, never hesitate in reporting any theft.
If the perpetrator is caught, of course this can be developed and can reveal the acts of theft that occurred in the local area.
"Who knows the perpetrator who was arrested has something to do with other incidents so that the police can develop it further," he said.
