City Government Make Sure There Are No Demonstrations During The Commemoration Of Labor Day May 1, 2024 In Bandung
BANDUNG - Bandung City Government (Pemkot) ensures that no one will hold a demonstration down to the streets during the commemoration of International Labor Day on May 1, 2024.
"There is no demonstration going down to the streets. Thank God, thank you," said Head of the Bandung City Manpower Service Andri Darusman in Bandung, West Java (West Java), Wednesday, April 24, as reported by Antara.
Andri explained that the Bandung City Government will facilitate workers by holding a series of activities on the commemoration of International Labor Day 2024 which will take place on Sunday 5 May 2024 at the Harris Convention Center Festival Citylink, Bandung City.
"Later, this activity will be attended by around 1,500 representatives of labor workers from the business world of Bandung City," he said.
He invited all parties to make International Labor Day 2024 a joint work event to create competent labor workers.
Meanwhile, the Daily Executive of the Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Hikmat Ginanjar said, the theme of commemorating International Labor Day 2024 became a spirit in reflecting the involvement of all business actors.
As is known, the theme of the commemoration of International Labor Day or May Day 2024 in the city of Bandung is "Make Momentum May Day 2024 to Unite Hearts, Feelings and Thoughts in Achieving Joint Welfare".
"The city of Bandung is our home together. If we have spoken about the house, then we must protect it together from various sectors. As residents in it, let's take care of Bandung as a city that is safe, comfortable, and conducive," said Hikmat.

He hopes that by building a harmonious relationship between workers, employers, and the government (tripartite), every issue or difference of interest can be resolved by upholding the principle of deliberation for consensus.
