Legitimate! Prabowo-Gibran Become President And Vice President Elected 2024-2029
JAKARTA - KPU chairman Hasyim Asy'ari read out the minutes number 252/PL.01.9-BA/05/2024 regarding the determination of the president and vice president in the 2024 presidential election in an open plenary meeting to determine the elected presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs in the plenary meeting room of the KPU building in Central Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
Based on the minutes, the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka were declared legally president and vice president elected for the 2024-2029 leadership period.
"The KPU of the Republic of Indonesia has appointed presidential and vice presidential pairs number 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as president and vice president elected in 2024-2029," said Hasyim.
Hasyim said Prabowo-Gibran was eligible to become president and vice president elected with 96,214,691 votes or equivalent to 58.59 percent. This number meets at least 20% of the votes from 38 provinces in Indonesia.
"With the vote acquisition of 96,214,691 votes or 58.59% of the total national valid votes and meeting at least 20% of the votes in each province spread across 38 provinces from 38 provinces in Indonesia," said Hasyim.
The minutes of the event were made in 24 concurrently and each signed by the chairman and members of the KPU.

It is known, today, Prabowo-Gibran attended an open plenary meeting to determine the pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates elected in the 2024 presidential election. At the event, there were also presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1 Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar as well as supporting party elites from Nasdem, PKB and PKS.
Based on the vote acquisition, Prabowo-Gibran managed to get 96,214,691 votes or the equivalent of 58.59 percent. Meanwhile, candidate pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar received 40,971,906 votes or 24.95 percent and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD as many as 27,040,878 votes aka 16.47 percent.
