Wings Air Opens Ternate-Manado Route
Lion Air has opened flight routes from Sultan Baabullah Airport Ternate, North Maluku to Manado's Sam Ratulangi Airport after reopening flights after being closed due to the eruption of Mount Ruang in North Sulawesi, Siau Islands Regency, Tagulandang.
"Today, flight activities from Ternate-Manado using Wings Air aircraft have been opened and there are already three flights using Wings Air type ATR600 with a capacity of 72 passengers," said the Coordinator of Pax Haldling Lion Air Ternate Branch, Alfian Hi Logah, quoted from Antara, Tuesday 23 April.
He said, after the flight activity at Sam Ratulangi Airport was opened, passengers using the Wings Air plane on the Ternate-Manado route were fully occupied.
Thus, passengers who have not been dispatched must wait for the flight for Wednesday with three flights.
Meanwhile, other aircraft such as Lion Air, Batik Air and Super Jet for the Ternate-Makassar and Ternate-Jakarta PP routes continue to operate to serve various flights in various cities in Indonesia.
According to him, previously, Lion Air and Batik Air airlines were forced to postpone their flights from Ternate to various cities in Indonesia through Sultan Baabullah Airport Ternate, due to the eruption of Mount Ruang in North Sulawesi, Siau Islands Regency, Tagulandang.
As is known, all flight activities of the Wings Air route for the Ternate Manado PP on Thursday (18/4) were not operated last week following the eruption of Mount Ruang in North Sulawesi (North Sulawesi) experiencing an eruption or eruption in April 2024.

Meanwhile, one of the prospective passengers to Ternate-Manado, Muhammad Farizal, using a Wings Air plane said he was happy to be able to use the Wings Air plane for the Ternate-Manado route today.
"My ticket to Ternate-Manado is scheduled for April 18, 2024, but due to the eruption of Mount Ruang, my ticket has been pushed back until April 23, 2024 and thank God I was able to go to Manado," said Muhammad Farizal.
