6 Kg Of North Sumatra Marijuana Entered Tegal Through Expeditionary Services Secured By Central Java BNN
JAKARTA - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Central Java Province (Central Java) thwarted the shipment of six kilograms (kg) of marijuana from North Sumatra (North Sumatra) which was sent using an expedition service to Tegal.
Head of the Central Java BNNP Brigadier General of Police Agus Rohmat in Semarang, Tuesday, said the disclosure stemmed from information from the North Sumatra BNNP regarding the delivery of marijuana to Tegal.
The delivery was disguised by using a pipe to trick the delivery service provider company.
"Marijuana is put in six pipes, sent to Tegal," said Agus.
Central Java BNNP personnel arrested the recipient of a marijuana shipment with the initials AMB when the order arrived at its destination address on Monday (22/4).
The suspect admitted to ordering the marijuana online and it is planned that it will be circulated in the Tegal area.
"The North Sumatra and Central Java networks are still being developed. The perpetrators ordered online which was then sent as if it were a pipe," he said.
For his actions, the suspect was charged with Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
