Visiting The Market In Mamasa Sulbar, Jokowi Is Grateful For The Price Of Stable Basic Materials
SULBAR - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited traditional markets in Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar). This presidential activity is to monitor the prices of a number of basic commodities.
"I see the price of a number of commodities here (Mamasa) is quite stable," said President Jokowi, while visiting a traditional market in Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi, Tuesday, April 23, which was confiscated by Antara.
During the visit to the market near the city park in Mamasa Regency, President Jokowi was accompanied by Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
The President is grateful that the prices of a number of basic commodities in Mamasa Regency are quite stable.
"Compared to other areas, the price of curly red chili onions and local rice in Mamasa Regency is quite good," said Jokowi.
After visiting the traditional market, President Jokowi and his entourage then visited the Kondosapata Mamasa Hospital.
Acting Regent Mamasa Muhammad Zain stated that the arrival of President Jokowi and his entourage in Mamasa Regency was a matter of pride for the people of the area.
During his visit to Mamasa Regency, thousands of residents packed the road that President Jokowi's entourage was traveling through.

Prior to visiting Mamasa Regency, President Jokowi inaugurated 147 buildings that had been rehabilitated and reconstructed due to an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 that hit Mamuju and Majene Regencies on January 15, 2021.
The 147 buildings consist of 47 office buildings, 29 health facilities, 43 educational facilities, each one worship building and sports facilities, seven flats, two traditional houses and 17 drinking water facilities.
