Ganjar's Message To Prabowo-Gibran After The Constitutional Court's Decision: Be A Leader Without Selecting

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number three, Ganjar Pranowo congratulated the elected presidential and vice presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka after his lawsuit regarding the dispute over the results of the 2024 presidential election was rejected by the Constitutional Court.

Ganjar conveyed via his Instagram account, @ganjar_pranowo.

"Congratulations to the elected president and vice president," wrote Ganjar while uploading his photo with Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan during the presidential candidate debate which was quoted on Monday, April 22.

Ganjar also expressed his hopes to Prabowo-Gibran. They are expected to continue the best struggle for Indonesia and the results can be enjoyed by all parties without exception.

"Let's continue the best struggle for Indonesia and be a leader without being selective," said the former Governor of Central Java.

The same words have been conveyed by the vice presidential candidate Ganjar, Mahfud MD after listening to the Constitutional Court's decision. "Mas Ganjar and I accepted this decision and congratulated Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran on this decision," said the former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs at a press conference at the Ganjar-Mahfud Command Post, Jalan Teuku Umar, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday afternoon.

"And good job. Hopefully this country will get better," he continued.

Mahfud asked all parties to be relieved of the decision that had been submitted. "That is our most important statement, we accept this decision and good luck working, let's take care of this country as well as possible," said the former Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.

As previously reported, the Constitutional Court rejected the request of the Ganjar-Mahud camp regarding the Dispute over the General Election Results (PHPU) of the President and Vice President 2024. The reading was made at the Constitutional Court Building, Central Jakarta on Monday, April 22.

"Reject the applicant's application in its entirety," said Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Suhartoyo.

There are three constitutional judges who state dissenting opinion in this decision. They are Saldi Isra, Enny Nurbaningsih, and Arief Hidayat.

The Ganjar-Mahfud camp has submitted a request for the Constitutional Court to disqualify candidate pair number two, namely, Prabowo-Gibran to be disqualified.

There are several arguments in the petition submitted, such as allegations of ethical violations during the 2024 presidential election. Then, President Joko Widodo's nepotism action was carried out.

In addition, there are also allegations regarding the occurrence of coordinated abuse of power in all levels of government, and alleged violations of election procedures that occurred before the voting process that occurred in SIREKAP.
