RAFI Task Force Officially Closed, Here's The Performance Of Upstream To Downstream Pertamina

JAKARTA - The Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr Task Force (RAFI Task Force) of PT Pertamina (Persero) in 2024 was officially closed today, April 22, 2024, after working from March 25, 2024.

Pertamina's Logistics & Infrastructure Director Alfian Nasution said the success of the 2024 RAFI Task Force was a guide to improve in the next RAFI Task Force and other task forces formed by Pertamina in dealing with various events or national momentum.

"The implementation of the 2024 RAFI Task Force in general runs safely, smoothly and gets synergistic appreciation from all parties. The RAFI Task Force in the future can continue to be perfected, so that it can always provide the best service to the Indonesian people," said Alfian at the Closing Meeting of the 2024 RAFI Task Force, Monday, April 22.

On this occasion, Alfian explained several performances of the Task Force from upstream to downstream.

Pertamina Hulu Energi's Upstream Subholding, during the RAFI Task Force, has optimized oil and gas production in 40 domestic work areas managed by Pertamina.

The achievement of oil production has been recorded to have reached 93 percent of the target, while gas production has reached 102 percent.

In the manufacturing sector, continued Alfian, refinery production managed by the Pertamina Indonesia Refinery (KPI) is running according to the target with the realization of production on average exceeding the production plan.

KPI has succeeded in optimizing the Pertamina Refinery with a capacity of 1,074 MB per day and securing fuel stocks with production realizations that on average exceed the production plan.

For the distribution line run by Pertamina International Shipping's Subholding Integrated Marine Logistics (IML), 318 ships have deployed and 8 additional vessels as backup vehicles outside of regular tonnage.

"During the RaFI Task Force, Pertamina has transported around 500 shipments of domestic fuel, 172 shipments of LPG and 44 international shipments for fuel and LPG," explained Alfian.

Meanwhile, through Suholding Gas, Pertamina Gas Negara (PGN) has succeeded in meeting gas needs for households, industry and the transportation sector.

Until the end of the RAFI Task Force, the distribution of household gas was successfully distributed to 818,621 household customers in 18 provinces and 74 districts/cities.

In addition, PGN also distributed gas to 5,120 Commercial, Industrial and Small Customers, this distribution increased 15 percent compared to the 2023 RAFI Task Force period. The distribution, transportation, and regasification and power business run by PGN also increased compared to the 2023 RAFI Task Force period.

Meanwhile, Subholding Commercial & Trading, Pertamina Patra Niaga, which spearheaded energy services to the community during the homecoming and return of Lebaran, managed to meet the surge in fuel, LPG and Avtur needs.

Throughout the time the Task Force, Gasoline's needs recorded an increase of 9.7 percent, LPG rose 4.8 percent and Avtur rose 7.3 percent compared to the average normal consumption.

Then the peak of the highest increase for Gasoline occurred on April 9, 2024 or D-1 with an increase of 46 percent and the highest increase in Avtur occurred on April 6, 2024 or D-4, amounting to 31 percent, compared to normal consumption.
