37 Candidates For Supreme Court Justices And 6 Candidates For Ad Hoc HAM Judges Undergo Health Tests

JAKARTA - Selection of candidates for Supreme Court justices and human rights ad hoc (HAM) at the Supreme Court (MA) entered the third stage of selection, namely the selection of health and personality which was attended by 37 candidates for Supreme Court justices and six candidates for ad hoc human rights judges.

"This selection consists of health checks, competency assessments and personality, track records and input from the public," said Member of the Judicial Commission (KY) as Head of the Recruitment Division of Judge KY M. Taufiq HZ quoted from a press release received in Jakarta, Monday, April 22, confiscated by Antara.

In this selection, said Taufiq, the candidates will first undergo a two-day health and mental examination, from today to tomorrow, Tuesday (23/4) at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Jakarta.

Then, undergo competency and personality assessments from Wednesday (24/4) to Friday (3/5) which took place online.

Furthermore, said Taufiq, the leadership and members of KY will clarify their track records for the candidates for approximately one month.

"After undergoing a medical and mental examination, the participants will undergo an assessment of competence and personality," he said.

This competency assessment and personality aim to measure the competence of prospective judges consisting of the competency group of integrity, mentality, interpersonnel and organizational management, technical and judicial processes, as well as statesmanship.

Taufiq added that KY hopes that the public can provide input related to information or written opinions regarding track records related to the integrity, capacity, behavior and character of the candidates no later than Wednesday (22/5) at the e-mail address: recruitment @komisiyudisial.go.id or on Jalan Kramat Raya Number 57, Central Jakarta.

For information, KY opened registration for 2 Supreme Court justices of the Civil Chamber, 3 Supreme Court justices of the Criminal Chamber, 1 Supreme Court judge of the Chamber of Religion, 1 Supreme Court justice of the State Chamber of Administration (TUN), 3 special tax Supreme Court justices, and 3 ad hoc HAM judges in the Supreme Court.
