After Taking School Children, Motorcyclists Died When They Were Hit By A Garbage Truck Belonging To The Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept.

JAKARTA - A motorcyclist with the initials RS (46) was found dead in a pathetic manner after being dragged by a truck belonging to the Environmental Implementation Unit (Satpel) of Senen District, Central Jakarta, Monday, April 22.

The victim died after returning home to take his son to school. The accident occurred on Jalan Bungur, Senen District. At that time the victim was riding a motorbike from north to south on Jalan Bungur.

Head of Central Jakarta Traffic Unit, Kompol Gomos Simamora, said the LH-owned truck was driven by a driver with the initials IH (28), a resident of Semper Barat, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

"The victim grazed the river pedestrian and then swerved to the right and got under the garbage truck that was walking beside his right," said Kompol Gomos when confirmed.

Kompol Gomos explained that the victim died on the spot with abrasions to the head, face and stomach.

"We have processed the crime scene, secured the truck driver and evidence. The victim himself has been taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM)," he said.
