Today KAI Dismisses KAJJ At Jatinegara Station To Avoid Traffic Jams Due To Demonstration In Monas Area
JAKARTA - Regarding the demonstration ahead of the reading of the 2024 election dispute decision hearing at the Central Jakarta Constitutional Court (MK) Building, PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta also arranged operating patterns on several long-distance trains (KAJJ) departing from Gambir Station.
In order to minimize traffic jams experienced by train passengers, KAI will stop the train at Jatinegara Station after previously no KAJJ stopped at Jatinegara Station.
"In order to avoid delays in prospective passengers due to traffic jams around the road to Gambir Station," said KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Head of Public Relations, Ixfan Hendriwintoko when confirmed by VOI, Monday, April 22.
Ixfan said, specifically Monday, April 22, train departures between 06.00 WIB and 17:00 WIB will stop at Jatinegara Station to serve passengers.
The list of long-distance train trips departing from Gambir Station (KA Even), and being stopped at Jatinegara Station on Monday 22 April 2024 is as follows:

"The train departure time from Gambir Station has not changed. It is hoped that customers can avoid the risk of congestion which may occur due to the diversion of traffic to Gambir Station and have the option to depart from Jatinegara Station," he said.
As is known, the Central Jakarta Metro Police plans to divert traffic flow around the horse statue, the Monas area, Central Jakarta, ahead of the 2024 election dispute decision at the Constitutional Court Building on Monday, April 22.
"Traffic engineering will be situational depending on conditions in the field. If the excalation increases and is needed, then, traffic diversion and road closure will be carried out," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed.
