BRI Records Cash Deposits At ATMs Increase By 24.5 Percent During Ramadan Holidays And Eid 2024

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Persero Tbk (BRI) noted that cash payments through bank ATMs increased by 24.5 percent on an annual basis (yoy) during 12 days of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr services (RAFI) 1445 H. The company recorded the realization of BRI ATM cash deposits in that period reaching Rp. 14.9 trillion from the previous Rp. 11.9 trillion in 2023. Even though cash deposit transactions at ATMs experienced an increase, cash withdrawals on BRI ATM machines recorded a decrease of 10 percent yoy to Rp. 33 trillion from the previous Rp. 36.6 trillion in 2023. According to the company, the decrease in cash withdrawal transactions at BRI ATMs could not be separated from BRImo's intensive mobile banking penetration by BRI. "The company has prepared cash amounting to Rp34 trillion during the Eid 2024 holiday period.

The company has also implemented BRI The Integrated Alert Movement (BRIGesit) Ramadhan and Eid Al-Fitr (RAFI) 2024 during the last Lebaran holiday period to provide the best service to the community. BRIGesit RAFI is an operation to prepare all BRI services, one of which includes the readiness of ATM e-Channel devices, CRM and EDC during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah. There are five main service aspects prepared starting from cash availability, readiness of Limited Service Offices, e-Channel support, Digital Channel, IT & Network System, and Campalign Program. This number of aspects shows the expansion of the scope of the BRIGesit program in previous years.
