According to Agus, the crossing is a crossing that KAI has installed manual gate which is currently guarded by the surrounding community independently.
He regretted that there were still road users who were not careful and did not stop and did not look right and left when crossing the railroad crossing.
Furthermore, the existence of the main safety equipment at the level crossing is on traffic signs, where the status of the doorstop and the crossing guard is just a security aid.
The incident resulted in the journey of several Rajabasa train and Kuala Stabas train being disrupted and experiencing delays, as well as other trains such as the Goods train being held back.
The evacuation process was completed at 15.24 WIB so that the train trip is now back to normal.
"At the time of this incident, the driver had sounded 35 or repeatedly warning horns but the bus driver ignored them so that accidents could not be avoided," he said.
The driver has also made efforts to stop the train. In that incident, the bus was finally dragged about 50 meters.
Due to this incident, KAI suffered material losses which resulted in the late journey of the Rajabasa train and Kuala Stabas train, as well as several other trains.
Legally, the rules when vehicles cross railroad crossings have been strictly regulated in Article 114 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ).
The article reads, at a level crossing between the railroad and road lines, the driver of the vehicle must stop when the signal has sounded, the railroad gate has begun to be closed, and/or other signs.
Drivers of vehicles are required to prioritize trains and give the main rights to vehicles that first cross the rails.
