Post News Will Close Service In The Aftermath Of Losing Competitively With X
JAKARTA - Alternative platforms X and Mastodon, Post News, announced that it will close its services in the next few weeks. The reason is because business developments are considered slow.
"It is with a heavy heart that I convey this sad news to you. Regardless of how much we have achieved together, we will close Post News in the next few weeks," wrote the CEO, Waze, in an announcement.
Even though Post News managed to attract public attention after the Twitter controversy taken over by Elon Mask, it seems that Post still cannot compete with the popularity of X.
"In the end, our services are not growing fast enough to become a significant real business or platform. We haven't managed to find the right combination of products to make it happen," he wrote further.
So, prior to its service shutdown, Post released a feature that will allow users to download content, and will be available next week.
That way, you will still be able to enjoy the content you like even though the Post is no longer there.
