So that buyers can download online gambling applications without having to use a virtual private network (VPN) and without being blocked, so that they reap profits of up to hundreds of millions from selling shortcut links to online gambling applications.
The police initially found a shortcut sale to open online gambling sites and applications in one of the marketplaces, after further investigations were carried out, finally the perpetrator who made the shortcut was arrested in Tangerang-Banten.
"In their actions, hackers create applications or shortcuts that can be used to access various gambling sites that are blocked by the Ministry of Information," he said.
